Udvada

While the Parsis landed in Sanjan in Gujarat, they finally settled down in Udvada, where they set up their first sacred fire temple. And in that sense...is a very holy place for them.

It must have been a very picturesque "Parsi Town" as the homes indicate, however as of now Udvada just retains its identity as most of the Parsis have moved out. 

I have a lot of Parsi friends and one of them gratefully took me along with him to this quain town. And the images followed...
