Bhigwan National Park
Bhigwan National Park, bordering Pune is famous for bird watching especially Flamingos, which migrate all the way from Siberia, land first in Bhuj and then finally breed and rest at Bhigwan's marshy waters.
The beautiful colours that these birds imbibe are from the algae and moss in the waters. It is a sight worth watching and recording, especially their evening retreat.
One was also struck by the number of restaurants serving the local fish delicacy called Chilapi.
You can see ducks, herons, egrets, raptors along with Flamingos.
