For a Jew, two of the most important things are his synagogue and the cemetery where his forefathers are laid to rest. 

While there are only 5,000 Jews remaining in India, as many have migrated to Israel, the Jewish Quarter in Mumbai comprises 7 synagogues across the city with most of them still having active services on sabbath days. 

The Jews in India comprises of Malabaris, Bene Israelis and Baghdadis. And they have left their impressions in the city.
